Happy, happy and more happy! I’m almost done with classes for the semester, and I am more than ready for some relaxation at home with my family. πŸ™‚ This post is going to be a little random, so I decided to use headings. πŸ™‚

Life

It’s a bittersweet ending this year. Next semester I am going to NYC for an internship, so I won’t be back at KU until senior year. I love my school and I’m going to miss it, but I am SO excited for my internship. I have always wanted a magazine internship in NYC. I’m lucky because my older brother happens to live there, so I will have some family in the city! I’m ready for the next adventure. πŸ™‚ So much to look forward to!

Exercise

First things first – I just applied to run in the NYC Half Marathon! Whoo! I hope I get accepted. I have been alternating between running days and strength days. It’s been really fun! Yesterday I did 7 miles of hills on the treadmill and today I did the same strength workout from a few days ago.

Food

I have had quite the sweet tooth lately. If you took a look at my Pinterest this point would be blatantly obvious. I don’t think I should be allowed to pin when I’m hungry. πŸ˜‰ I have been on the 1-treat-a-day routine and it works for me. My roommate baked some Christmas sugar cookies, and I have enjoyed a couple. No guilt here – they were freakin’ delicious.

Here are some of my healthy eats as of late:

Enchilada (Beans, Chicken, the works, whole grain tortilla) & green beans!

Tofu, egg, spinach salad.

I think I will start taking pictures of my treats because they are much more fun to look at. Agree?

My latest addiction to Pinterest is hampering my ability to study for finals. HELP!

Get excited for…

πŸ™‚

xoxo

Maggie
