Life has been crazy lately! So fun, but crazy. I made my way to New York, New York this weekend. Before I left I completed my long run. A strawberry energy gu, vanilla energy gu and 2 hours and 45 minutes of sheer runnin’ later – I was DONE. I felt like it went really well and I wasn’t too tired. My legs were sore but that was expected. My garmin sadly did not charge so I had to do the run by time not miles. I think 2 hours and 45 minutes is enough for me! The energy gu was actually pretty good. I wish that it didn’t have so many random chemical ingredients though! I am on the lookout for some organic gu. I have thought about using straight up honey as well! Mom rode her bike behind me the whole way. Love her. It made the miles fly by, misery loves company right? Ha ha.
I made some energy bites before I left. They were my go-to snack on the plane rides!

TODAY – Rest/ X-train. AKA mowing my grandparents yard and piloxing class

Yes – that is a dollop of greek yogurt on top. Too good to be true, right?
