I don’t start work until tomorrow, so naturally I have been spending my time daydreaming about all of my goals, future plans and dreams. Well not just thinking about it – I have been taking some action too! I have researched internships on Ed2010 and InternQueen and I am in the process of improving my resume. It is quite the task. It’s all about the small steps that you take to get to big places.

As I have gone through college I have noticed that everything is constantly changing – more than any other time period in life. I decided that as inconvenient as it it to always be in a ‘temporary’ state, I love the new experiences that it brings. As Richard Bach said, “don’t fear change, it is always for the best.” I agree!

I just finished my back and biceps weight routine and had lunch! Recently I have been having a whey protein shake after my weight lifting sessions. As a newbie personal trainer I just want to try the ins and outs of the fitness industry to see what works. I will keep the blogging world posted on the results I get – if any. I supplemented the protein shake with Edamame Succotash from Whole Foods. The ingredients include: edamame, corn, onions, white wine, canola oil, parsley, basil, sea salt, garlic, pepper and jalapeno peppers. Not too shabby.

I will leave you with this quote to think about…

“We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.” e.e. Cummings

Get fit. Get life.
