Blueberry Crisp {Courtesy of my mom}

My mom claims there is no “real” recipe for this delicious and nutritious dish, but here is what she recommends…

  • 3-4 cups fresh blueberries or if you are in a pinch they can be frozen
  • 1/4 cupAgave Nectar
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 3-4 teaspoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

CAUTION: these are all estimates 🙂

How to make it: Get a 9×13 pan. Mix the blueberries with the Agave Nectar. Pour blueberry mix into pan. Mix the rest of the ingredients separately (rolled oats, butter, flour, brown sugar). Sprinkle this mix on top of blueberries. Bake at ABOUT 250 degrees for ABOUT 20 minutes. If you want it to be sweeter, drizzle more Agave on top!
