So true, yet so hard to accept. It is so hard to slow down and enjoy when there is always SO much to do, especially around this time of the year. I think that we can all benefit by just taking a few deep breaths and really relaxing when we feel like we don’t have the time for it. I am definitely guilty of not winding down when I need to. It is so easy to skip out on some “me” time in this day and age. It is TOO easy. When you step back and look at the big picture of life, it really makes sense to relax a little bit.
Of course I believe accomplishing tasks and being a productive person is essential, but sometimes it is also a necessity to take a mental break. These mental breaks end up making an individual more productive in the long run. Do you need quantity in your life or quality? When it comes to my life I will always choose quality. It’s a decision that you make everyday, so CHOOSE to make the most out of this beautiful and crazed life. It is your choice, you decide how you are going to feel, what attitude you will bring to the table, and how you will act with the time you are given. It really is simple, yet we all seem to take many complicated turns to achieve this simplicity.
So today I challenge YOU to R E L A X. Take it easy and look at the world around you and truly live in the moment.
